REAN Cloud attended the Amazon Web Services Public Sector Symposium in Washington, DC, in June 2014. It was a great event, and a busy 2 days. A few notes from our observations:
- Public sector interest in the cloud just continues to grow!
- There were some great case studies about organizations that have been able to overcome historical barriers to productivity by embracing the cloud.
- Scientific research in various fields was one key area of focus.
- Our partners, Globus Genomics, were one of the groups presenting innovation in that space.
It was a very exciting event, and we’ll be sure to attend next year as well.
