October 9, 2017 | REAN Cloud
2017 has been another year of strong growth for REAN Cloud. A big acquisition, partnerships, new hires and a host of new AWS Competencies have further solidified REAN Cloud as a major player in the cloud market. As we head into fall, we wanted to share the successful developments REAN Cloud has experienced in the past few months.
Most recently, REAN Cloud announced a strategic partnership with next generation security company Palo Alto Networks. By joining forces, REAN Cloud’s security offerings are integrated with Palo Alto Networks’ industry-leading security software, architecting an even stronger foundation for cloud security infrastructure. Now, companies migrating their data centers to the cloud are assured with the highest level of security. You can learn more about the partnership here.
Going back to March, REAN Cloud was included in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Public Cloud Infrastructure Managed Service Providers (MSP) 2017. The Magic Quadrant placed REAN Cloud the furthest for its ability to execute and completeness of vision, which REAN attributes to its unique automation capabilities, ease of integration, flexible pricing model and ability to assist customers in achieving DevOps agility.
REAN Cloud was subsequently named to CRN’s® 2017 Tech Elite 250 list, which annually recognizes an exclusive group of North American IT Solution Providers that have earned the highest number of advanced technical certifications from leading technology vendors, scaled to their company size.
In May, we announced the addition of four key new members to the REAN Cloud management team: Dan Connolly, EVP, Go-to-Market and Business Development; Wade Pedrotti, VP of Enterprise Transformations Solutions; Larry Bradley, VP of Advanced Analytics and Big Data Practice; and Jonathan Shamay Draluck, General Counsel. We’ve been impressed with what each of them has brought to the team and look forward to seeing them drive growth initiatives, most importantly, expanding REAN Cloud’s enterprise customer base and end-to-end service offerings.
As an Amazon Premier Consulting Partner, REAN Cloud has earned many competencies that highlight the depth of our expertise in various aspects of cloud computing. In June, we added a few more to our portfolio, including the AWS Security, Storage, Microsoft Workloads and Education competencies. Along with the AWS Big Data Competency that came along with the acquisition of 47Lining in July, REAN Cloud maintains 10 competencies in their portfolio.
The strategic acquisition of 47Lining, added to our big data capabilities and helped us to expand westward. 47Lining’s big data expertise combined with our cloud security, migration and DevOps experience rounds out an extremely strong cloud services offering, and will help REAN Cloud scale to meet customers’ big data needs, especially for real-time analytics and data platforms for extreme event volumes.
Also in July, BV investment partners increased their stake in REAN Cloud with a second round of funding to spark further growth.
As you can see, REAN Cloud has made tremendous strides in recent months, adding new customers, growing through acquisitions and partnerships and strengthening our service offerings. We foresee the rest of the year will show continued momentum and extend REAN’s growing and notable presence in the cloud provider market.
