To showcase advanced big data managed services for AWS, DevOps and Amazon Redshift at booth 1839 at The Venetian
Herndon, VA. – November 20, 2017 – REAN Cloud, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Premier Partner and independent cloud systems integrator, announces its return to AWS re:Invent for the fourth consecutive year, highlighting its advanced, outcome-based cloud service offerings in Las Vegas from November 27 – December 1, 2017. Attendees are encouraged to stop by booth #1839 at the Venetian Hotel where a team of REAN Cloud specialists and partners will be available to discuss security and compliance, big data and data lakes, predictive and real-time analytics, data warehouse modernization using Amazon Redshift and much more.
“We look forward to showcasing our outcome–focused approach to data migration, management and DevOps,” said Dan Connolly, executive vice president, Customer Business Group, REAN Cloud. “This year we will have several experts on hand including our own Amazon Redshift practice leader Bill Weiner, who will share how any business can utilize and reap the benefits of big data in the cloud. It’s an exciting event, and we’re proud to be Silver Sponsors this year.”
REAN Cloud is also inviting attendees to learn more about its work in data lakes and building secure environments during the following speaking engagements:
- Monday, Nov. 27 at 4:45 PM – The American Heart Association (AHA) – Building a secure and collaborative Precision Medicine Platform on AWS.
REAN Cloud and the AHA discuss how they created the AHA Precision Medicine Platform, building a data lake which enables greater collaboration and instant access to vast amounts of research data in a secure, centrally accessed, and easily searchable collection of datasets.
- Tuesday, Nov. 28 – Thursday, Nov. 30 at Palo Alto Networks Booth – Palo Alto Networks – Secure DevOps environments with automation.
Palo Alto Networks and REAN Cloud have partnered to offer a solution that enables the “touchless” creation of developer VPCs, automatically secured by Palo Alto Networks’ VM-Series next-generation firewall and using REAN Cloud’s automated blueprints and platform. Learn how to use automation to eliminate friction between development and security teams.
REAN Cloud representatives will also be discussing how the Department of Defense’s (DoD) USTRANSCOM (United States Transportation Command) is reaping the benefits of REAN Cloud’s disruptive cloud approach.
- REAN Cloud supported the DoD with the first deployment in the AWS GovCloud, the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) suite of enterprise-level cloud security and management services.
- USTRANSCOM used REAN DevOps Accelerators, which simplify and streamline application lifecycle management to quickly migrate a series of IT systems from on-premises datacenters to the AWS Cloud.
Since its attendance at AWS re:Invent last year, REAN Cloud has grown in size, locations and capabilities, including acquiring 47Lining, which expands REAN Cloud’s big data and analytics offering to include data lakes, data warehousing, high-volume event platforms and Internet of Things (IoT). The acquisition also adds key locations, including Denver’s fast-growing tech corridor and Orange County, California’s expanding tech community to REAN Cloud’s U.S. footprint.
“Acquiring 47Lining has allowed us to dramatically expand our big data and analytics expertise, and round out our services offerings in data lakes, Amazon Redshift migrations and data platforms for extreme event volumes, as well as achieve a coast-to-coast presence,” said Sekhar Puli, Managing Partner of REAN Cloud. “The 47Lining team’s wealth of experience in constructing data lakes for descriptive, predictive and real-time analytics is tremendously valuable for meeting the increasing demand from data-driven organizations looking to fully realize the cloud’s potential.”
Beyond geographic and service expansions, REAN Cloud has achieved AWS Competency Partner status in Storage, Security, Education and Microsoft Workloads, adding to its other key AWS Competencies, which include Big Data, Migration, DevOps, Financial Services, Government and Life Sciences. REAN Cloud was also named an AWS Next-Generation Managed Service Partner for the third consecutive year, and was recognized in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant on Public Cloud Infrastructure Managed Service Providers, 2017.
REAN Cloud will also be hosting the re:Invent Pub Crawl on Wednesday, November 29 beginning at 5:30 PM PT at Mercato Della Pescheria. Those interested are requested to RSVP here. Cocktails and appetizers will be served, and attendees will automatically be entered into a draw to win a new iPhone X.
