Rupa leads HR and operations at REAN Cloud. She works closely with the Amazon Web Services partner team to enable partner solutions on the AWS Test Drive platform, where companies can easily launch complex solutions involving multiple servers in minutes without any prior knowledge of AWS. This has evolved into a successful program used by major software vendors. She brings with her 15 years of hands-on technology experience.
Though she loves technology, her education has different flavors that allow her to have a much broader vision. She has graduated in accounting and completed her post graduate in Garment Manufacturing Technology from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). She also holds a second Master’s in Information Systems and Software Systems Engineering from George Mason University.
Currently, she is also working as a board member and treasurer for the non-profit organization Asha-Jyothi (www.ashajyothi.org), which provides education for underprivileged kids in India. She plays a key role in the fundraising activities of Asha-Jyothi.
She balances her professional life with a healthy involvement in her daughters’ upbringing. She is a black belt in Taekwondo. She loves being a mom and feels that it helps to keep things in perspective and appreciate life even more.
